Meeting of the Rabita Madaris Islamia Karnataka Delegation with Scholars of Hassan at Jamia Anwar-e-Madina

Alhamdulillah, on Thursday, 17 September 2026, a programme was held at Jamia Anwar-e-Madina, Hassan District, on the occasion of the Dastarbandi ceremony, distribution of certificates, and a programme on the protection of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat (Finality of Prophethood).

The chief guest of the programme was Hazrat Maulana Salman Bijnori Sahib (Damat Barakatuhum). Scholars from eight districts participated in the gathering. A delegation of Rabita Madaris Islamia from Bengaluru also attended. The delegation included Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shamsuddin Bijli Sahib Qasmi (Damat Barakatuhum), President of Rabita Madaris Islamia Karnataka, along with Hazrat Maulana Riyaz Sahib and Janab Haji Ishtiaq Sahib.

On this occasion, the respected President explained the current activities and future plans of Rabita Madaris Islamia, Karnataka to the assembled scholars. He stated that, InshaAllah, there is a plan to conduct a common examination for madrasa students across Karnataka this year. Under this initiative, a collective examination will be conducted for students of the Hifz and Nazirah departments, while students of Dars-e-Nizami will be examined in the subjects of Nahw and Sarf, based on Hidayat al-Nahw and Ilm al-Sighah.

The respected President further stated that during a meeting of the Executive Committee, Hazrat Maulana Shaukat Sahib Bastawi (Damat Barakatuhum) had proposed preparing a directory of madrasas in Karnataka. At that very time, approval was obtained from him to develop a website for this purpose.

Alhamdulillah, the website is currently under development. When its benefits and facilities were presented before the scholars, they greatly appreciated the initiative and expressed their happiness and support.

By the grace of Allah Almighty, this gathering was highly successful and beneficial.
