This is the first step. Registration creates the institution’s record in the Rabita portal. After Headquarters approves the registration, the Madrasa can add its authorised team and then prepare the complete affiliation application.

Keep everything ready

Before starting, keep the information and documents needed from registration through final affiliation ready. You can complete the portal in stages, but preparing these now will make the process smoother.

Madrasa & contact

Official Madrasa name and establishment year

Google Maps location, complete address, locality and PIN code

Working official email, mobile/WhatsApp and alternate contact number

Authorised applicant/contact person details

Management & people

Trust/association/society details, including president and secretary names

Waqf affiliation status, if applicable

Principal details with photo, contact, qualification and address

Safeer details with photo, if the Madrasa has Safeer(s), or confirmation that there is no Safeer

Education & strength

Courses offered and student count in each course

Total students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff counts

Resident/hostel student information and hostel details where applicable

Facilities & live photos

Facilities available: classrooms, office, prayer, drinking water, washrooms, kitchen, dining, hostel, library, safety and other applicable facilities

Keep all facilities and photo locations clean, tidy and ready before starting the affiliation process. Live photos are captured at the Madrasa location and should show the actual present condition of each facility.

Location-linked live photos will be required for the outside/front view, classrooms/infrastructure, kitchen, dining area, washrooms and any other facility-specific areas requested in the application.

Darul Uloom Deoband certificate and other applicable institutional certificates/documents

Important: Registration only creates the Madrasa record. Affiliation is issued after the complete profile, supporting documents, compliance details and application are submitted and verified by Headquarters.

Confirm eligibility before registration

Please read each condition carefully. All three confirmations are required before the registration form can be opened.

Required

Belief, approach and prescribed teaching pattern I confirm that this Madrasa adheres to the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah, agrees with the approach of the scholars of Deoband, and either conducts Arabic classes according to the pattern of Darul Uloom Deoband, or teaches Hifz together with Tajweed systematically through prescribed books with examination. Minimum aided resident student strength I confirm that this Madrasa has at least twenty-five (25) aided resident students. Madrasat-ul-Banat exclusion I confirm that this institution is not a Madrasat-ul-Banat (girls’ madrasa). Madrasat-ul-Banat are not admitted as members of Rabta-e-Madaris under these rules.
